The Council doesn't have the funds to seal all unsealed roads, so we seal sections of a small number of our busiest roads each year. These are roads that link a high number of homes, schools, marae and other public facilities. We are sealing 9.4 km of seven roads in the district over the next three years under our Priority Seal Extensions Programme which is funded entirely by rates.
